A curated collection of office furniture — including desks, privacy screens, and modesty panels — that I designed for TD Steel to offer offices a refined, luxury alternative to standard professional furnishings.

Ideation as a collection

Revolving around three main office desks - with matching screens and modesty panels for each design.

DESIGN NO. 01

A triple-rod leg adds a striking detail to an otherwise simple area of the table, while seamlessly concealing the modesty panel beneath

A single rod of bent steel, subtly curved with a defined groove, creates a minimal design that feels both timeless and refined.

Rounded steel rods work as the legs, creating an open layout, making space for drawers and storage.

IDEATION

EXPLORATION

As a full system - from desk to privacy panels.

  • I imagine this sitting in a luxurious restaurant bathroom to bring luxury to every piece of a restaurant.

  • It perfectly blends into a darker toned space while catching slight attention when lit up.

  • Anyone with the intention of spicing up a space would love this in a minimalist home

misty ash

  • This would create a brighter piece, allowing light to pass throughout the whole body.

  • There would be too much light passing when the main focus are the holes.

sleek wood

  • Focuses light to go through the holes.

  • Takes away from the light and airy feel that could compliment the vinyl film.

  • A balance between standing out and specific focal points.

  • Does not compliment vinyl as well due to color choice

THE COCOON

  • Vinyl

    The holes of the wings are filled with an iridescent film that splashes colors on its surrounding space.

  • stems

    I wanted the base to match the brass rod that held the piece together so I matched it using spray paint.

  • wings

    The wings are coated with a black gloss paint and a dark iridescent glitter to shine at certain angles.

  • support

    The pieces were planned out to fit into grooves for maximum support to cater to the heavy weight.
